The Biblical Man is not someone who zealously throws himself into some missionary endeavour or crusade for social change. There are concentric circles of concern, there are responsibilities before God and we are to work from the inside out.
How am I meant to advance the kingdom and subdue the earth? There is an order. And it goes something like this: first, self; then wife; then children; then local church; then missions. If we take these things out of order, or we pass over the first things to give ourselves to the last things, we have invalidated our ministries and maybe even proven ourselves to be hypocrites.
